Andrew Mancini’s journey in hockey began on Long Island, where he grew up playing for the Long Island Gulls and PAL organizations. At 16, he took the next step in his development by continuing his career at the prep school level, allowing him to compete at a higher level and further sharpen academic skills. After prep school, Andrew was drafted by the Danbury Hat Tricks of the NAHL and later completed his junior career in the NCDC with the Jr. Islanders. He went on to play collegiate hockey for the Stony Brook Seawolves, serving two years as Assistant Captain before leading the team as Captain in his senior season as well as the clubs President. He now proudly serves as the Seawolves’ Mindset Performance Coach. Throughout his playing career, Andrew discovered that success in hockey and in life extends far beyond physical talent. His passion for mindset performance was shaped early, spending nearly a decade being mentored by Vinny Malts who is the first Mindset Performance Coach in the NHL, previously with the Chicago Blackhawks and now with the Edmonton Oilers. Driven by this mentorship and his own experience as a player, Andrew founded his mindset performance practice with one mission: to equip athletes with the mental tools, self-awareness, and strategies they need to perform at their highest level, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
